Splatter
Splatter is a five-piece band from southern NH, reviving the sound of classic rock, folk and jam tunes. Founded in August of 2023, the band consists of Max Orio on bass and vocals, Jake Heisey on guitar, Julia Baer on guitar and vocals, Owen Keyes on guitar, and Emma Toscano on drums. Splatter combines vocal harmonies, a high-powered string section, and a deep rhythm pocket to create a rich, versatile sound. Comprised of both Keene State College students and alumni who convened within the jazz program, Splatter features improvisational playing and echoes of the classical training several members have obtained. Splatter has performed a multitude of house shows and campus events, along with performing at Domefest, Keene Pumpkinfest, Nova Arts, and Birdies in Keene. The band’s repertoire is ever evolving, featuring both original material and reimagined classics.
